January 2024 AQPF Meeting

The Clean Air Force held its 2024 first quarter Air Quality Professionals Forum (AQPF) meeting on January 9 at LCRA’s Red Bud Center. Approximately 20 people attended the meeting, which included a presentation titled “The Saharan Air Layer — Bigger Than Texas!”, by Jon Zeitler (pictured), Science and Operations Officer for the National Weather Service, Austin-San Antonio Forecast Office. Natalie Hossein, Senior Engineer at LCRA, provided a Partner Update. The presentation given by Mr. Zeitler was interesting, informative, and relevant.
